What is Ayurveda?

AJURVEDA - is the “knowledge of life” - NATUROTHERAPY FROM INDIA a more than 5,000-year-old art of natural health support, and knowledge of life leading to health and inner harmony. It treats humans holistically, and considers a balance between body, mind and soul as a state of health. Self-healing is often achieved through changes in lifestyle and food, the use of healing spices and herbs, a change in thinking, quieting the mind and principles that put life in order. Ayurveda provides simple, everyday applicable ways to stay healthy and remedies for many ailments such as being overweight, stress, lack of enjoyment of life, among others. It is a way to get to know oneself and each person's individual constitution, consisting of the three biological energies: vata, pitta, kapha, which affect the body and mind, and their imbalance causes illness. Similar bodily humours were described by Father Klimuszko, who called them wind, bile and mucus respectively.

Holistic approach of naturotherapy

Naturotherapy encompasses the knowledge, skills and social competences of health science. It is based on the premise that the body has an innate ability to heal itself under the right conditions. The investigation and therapy specific to naturotherapy focuses on the use of diagnostic techniques and a range of natural therapies to support healing, restore and maintain health.

Naturotherapy aims to restore vitality by supporting and stimulating the body's own healing mechanisms. Health, from a naturotherapy perspective, is related to the ability to maintain optimal order and function of the body and is the result of a harmonious balance of a healthy human mind, body, spirit and environment. The healing power of nature and the mechanisms inherent in each person's body are the core principles on which the practice of naturotherapy is based.

Causes of disease in ayurveda

According to Ayurveda, one of the main causes of illness is the misuse of the senses. All disturbances of the mind are related to the absorption of unhealthy sensations such as excess noise, information and beliefs. Physical disorders arise, for example, because we eat unhealthy food in the wrong way. Emotional disturbances are created in our relationships, where most of the time we either express our emotions or suppress them - thus wasting a lot of energy. All these impressions combine and strain vitality.

Ayurveda and yoga teach the harmony of the senses and the elements, thus experiencing sensations that support our vitality!
