A nourishing immersion in nature
IN SILNA BY THE LAKE. CHŁOP, DOM POD LIPĄ / Pszczew Landscape Park
The Practice of Yoga and the Wisdom of Ayurveda
Subject: THE TRUTH OF YOUR HEART – The Power of Paradox, or the Middle Ground.
I warmly invite you to the next edition of our summer rejuvenation retreat, featuring a specially curated yoga programme and a wealth of information on physical and mental health, understanding one’s own nature, and spiritual topics; but also to the atmosphere of a mini-community, the Circle, and the experience of primal simplicity, openness and receptivity, as well as surrendering to the forces of Untamed Nature in the Pszczewski Landscape Park.
Give yourself time to break away from the day-to-day in favour of finding spiritual balance through the wonder of nature, a light cleansing vegetarian diet and a yogic daily routine.

This year’s theme will be THE TRUTH OF YOUR HEART – The Power of Paradox, or The Middle Ground.
On the one hand, this is a topic that’s always relevant, yet at the same time it fits this year like a glove. I’m writing this in February and I’m curious myself to see what resonance it will have in August. Well, my intuition tells me that this year we will not only discover what it means to STAND FIRMLY IN OUR OWN TRUTH, as the Native Americans used to say, but we’ll also experience the TRUTH OF OTHERS just as deeply, until we meet on common ground and the TRUTH becomes OURS. And this cannot happen any other way than through RECOGNITION, ACCEPTANCE AND CONSENT.
In this process, the paradox – that is, the meeting of opposites that cannot usually come together – will play a significant role. We will therefore spend this week exploring our inner conflicts and, at the same time, our ability to build bridges, mediate and reconcile. To stand in the middle between „I can” and „I cannot”, „mine” and „yours”. To remain true to oneself even if everyone else goes elsewhere. To share this and see that it, too, is a feeling we all have in common. What is the difficulty? Paradoxically (!), it lies in remaining neutral whilst being oneself, in showing no hesitation amidst a hundred opinions and views, whilst remaining supple and flexible. We will therefore work on the qualities of the heart and throat centres, which, working together, express the truth with compassion towards other beings. This process leads to the somewhat overhyped „5D”
– it is indeed time to grasp the essence of Soorya Akasha: the space in which a human being opens their heart to the divine vibration of the Logos.

It will also be a time to regenerate body and mind, to rediscover and reclaim the energy trapped in painful memories, suppressed emotions and fears that have been silenced. The science and art of yoga does not dredge up the story of one’s life, nor does it demand an analysis of memories – it invites you to purify their content through the techniques of breath, movement, concentration and mantras. Trust your inner sense and let go of what you’re holding on to so tightly. Take a breath. A week of rest and fun awaits you, but also work using the methods of yogic knowledge concerning the spiritual, mental, psychological and physical dimensions of the human being, a few small challenges, and daily Ayurveda to care for the body’s needs.

PROGRAMME: lectures and discussions in the Circle, two yoga/meditation sessions daily, one day of silence to discover inner stillness and regenerate the senses, but also to tap into a different dimension of communication; morning „trance-like” runs to the lake and swims, „breathwalk” walks in the forest, 3 vegetarian meals (including 1 session of communal cooking of kitcheri, yogi tea, ghee and more), artistic and creative activities, plenty of time for yourself, and in the evenings, relaxation to the sound of drums and gongs, singing by the campfire, as well as learning how to give each other oil massages of the face, head, hands and feet, …————————————————————————————————————

You are most warmly invited.
We’ll be starting on Sunday 8 August at 6.00 pm with dinner, followed by an organisational meeting at 7.00 pm (you’re welcome to arrive a little earlier, but rooms will be ready from 5.30 pm), and we’ll finish on Saturday 14 August with lunch between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm. You’re welcome to stay a little longer after checking out of your rooms. You’ll need to make your own way there. I CAN HELP YOU GET IN TOUCH WITH PEOPLE YOU CAN CARPOOL WITH.

Kundalini Yoga leads through gentle or intense, but always effective sets of exercises. The session begins by establishing a connection between the soul and the body through the sound of a mantra. It then guides your body through graceful postures rearranging patterns and blockages left in it by anger, shame and grief. It renews the flow of energy, making you open, ready to be a fulfilled being. Kundalini is a biological way of expanding the mind, it is the food of our consciousness, it reaches out through the nerves. Systematic work with one's own energy, mind and emotions by becoming familiar with the dynamics of the breath, calmly and comprehensively stretching the body and activating the chakras leads to a coherent and lasting connection of soul, body and mind, noticing one's own beliefs and limitations and that these can be healed. Great prophets, mystics, sages and people of genius have achieved their evolutionary goal. They harmonised their lives with the forces of nature that govern our lives. Their purity, truth, moderation, compassion, humility, above all, helped them to do so.
