A nourishing immersion in nature
W SILNEJ BY LAKE CHŁOP, THE HOUSE UNDER THE LINDEN TREE / Pszczewski Landscape Park
Women’s Yoga Practice and Ayurvedic Wisdom
Holy Warrior Archetype Training in the Women’s Circle
This is a trip for women –
not only because of the specially selected yoga practice and the wealth of information on women’s life cycles, herbal medicine for women at different stages of life, and understanding one’s own nature, but also because of the atmosphere of the mini-community, the Circle, the experience of primal simplicity, openness and receptiveness, and surrender to the forces of the untamed nature of the Pszczewski Landscape Park.
Give yourself time to step away from the daily grind and find some balance spiritual well-being, thanks to the beautiful natural surroundings, a light, cleansing vegetarian diet and a daily yoga routine.
This year’s theme will be the Archetype of the Sacred Warrior Woman.
In the West, Joan of Arc is the icon of this archetype. In the East, we have many more similar examples, about whom entire epics have been written. This archetype combines divine power with human humility. It embodies feminine strength, courage, wildness and mystery, whilst also embodying intuitive subtlety, self-sacrifice and the capacity to serve – particularly in relation to the divine emanation (often referred to as the Higher Self). How can we internalise this archetype without resorting to repression and violence?
How can we consciously embrace the full spectrum of experiences that accompany us when we speak up? These and many other questions will be raised in our Circle.
It will also be a time to regenerate body and mind, to rediscover and reclaim the energy trapped in painful memories, suppressed emotions and fears that have been silenced. The science and art of yoga does not dredge up the story of your life, nor does it demand an analysis of your memories – it invites you to purify their content through the techniques of breath, movement, concentration and mantras. Trust your inner sense and let go of what you’re holding on to so tightly. Take a breath. A week of rest and fun awaits you, but also work using the methods of yogic knowledge concerning the spiritual, mental, psychological and physical dimensions of the human being, a few small challenges, and daily Ayurveda tailored to the needs of the female body.

PROGRAMME: lectures and discussions in the Circle, two yoga/meditation sessions every day, one day of silence to discover inner stillness and regenerate the senses, but also to tap into a different dimension of communication; morning „trance-like” runs to the lake and swims, „breathwalk” walks in the forest, 3 vegetarian meals (2 x communal cooking), artistic and creative activities, plenty of time for yourself, and in the evenings, relaxation to the sound of drums and gongs, singing to strengthen feminine energy around the campfire, as well as learning how to give each other oil massages of the face, head, hands and feet, …

„Although all humans have masculine and feminine energies, there are widely recognised differences between men and women regarding hormones and brain function. Ancient writings describe women as 16 times more intuitive and 16 times more patient and compassionate than men. These writings also say that women are eight times less confident, meaning that we do not always realise our greatness. „
Over the course of these days, you will undergo a process of renewal on a physical, mental and spiritual level. You will experience both an Inner Stillness that fosters deep introspection and a sense of closeness with other women through conversation, sharing, activities and practice. You will soothe your mind and nourish your heart through contact with Nature, who is both Mother Nature and Wild Woman. Thanks to the simplicity of each day, your body will relax and regenerate.
You’ll learn about the map of the female body as described in the teachings of subtle anatomy, and how to understand its impact on your personal cycle so that you can manage it effectively. We’ll spend a moment discussing what we carry within our aura and how this shapes us. We’ll discuss the relevance of some of Yogi Bhajan’s advice for women in the context of sexuality and personal well-being.
A woman is subject to the cycles of nature, so understanding these processes and accepting how they manifest in the body offers an opportunity to find her own rhythm and to love the beauty of her gender. Women are more likely than men to be guided by their hearts, and so they need to ensure that their hearts remain open despite any hurt, sensitive yet not naïve – how is this possible? Women rely on their intuition more often than men do; they need to practise and apply it in order to be able to trust it. She needs the interplay of neurons and hormones to harmonise the three aspects of being a woman: the archetypes of the mother, the lover and the goddess.
A trip like this can often strike a chord within us by taking us away from familiar surroundings and changing the rhythm of our day; it offers a respite from daily responsibilities whilst engaging us on other levels of existence – it rejuvenates what has been worn down by the daily grind, temporarily loosening well-worn patterns of behaviour, which in turn allows for an opening of consciousness and a broadened perception (not merely intellectual).
– so if you feel that this might be the right time for you – get in touch now, and the decision you make within yourself will set other events in motion so that you can make it happen… You’re very welcome to join us.
We’ll be starting on Sunday 19 August at 5.30 pm with an organisational meeting, followed by dinner at 7.00 pm (you’re welcome to arrive a little earlier, but rooms will be ready from 5 pm), and we’ll finish on Saturday 25 August with lunch at 1.00 pm. Kundalini Yoga leads through gentle or intense, but always effective sets of exercises. The session begins by establishing a connection between the soul and the body through the sound of a mantra. It then guides your body through graceful postures rearranging patterns and blockages left in it by anger, shame and grief. It renews the flow of energy, making you open, ready to be a fulfilled being. Kundalini is a biological way of expanding the mind, it is the food of our consciousness, it reaches out through the nerves. Systematic work with one's own energy, mind and emotions by becoming familiar with the dynamics of the breath, calmly and comprehensively stretching the body and activating the chakras leads to a coherent and lasting connection of soul, body and mind, noticing one's own beliefs and limitations and that these can be healed. Great prophets, mystics, sages and people of genius have achieved their evolutionary goal. They harmonised their lives with the forces of nature that govern our lives. Their purity, truth, moderation, compassion, humility, above all, helped them to do so.
