What do you gain by practising Kundalini Yoga?
We practise the physical body through asanas, breathing deeply and calming the mind with mantras and meditation – focusing on one of the 10 bodies we possess, as taught by Yogi Bhajan in the teachings of Kundalini Yoga – in order to deepen our knowledge and experience of a particular aspect of our Self. This is a highly comprehensive discipline and process, through which we can take a fresh look at the plan for our lives and their purpose.
10 Spiritual bodies
- reflections on the soul - What is it, what is it and what is its relation to mind, heart, life, blood... Why am I here and what is the purpose of my life on earth?
- negative mind - Protects, orders, questions, questions, doubts, complains, criticises, has immeasurable needs and unmet desires.
- positive mind - euphoric, risk-taking, does not see obstacles, encourages, gives courage, can reinforce negation and control.
- neutral mind – chooses a third way, relies on intuition, makes split-second decisions, „recognises with the heart".
- physical body – the integration of the elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether) and the gunas (tamas, rajas, sattva).
- arc - Our antenna to receive subtle signals, the ability to use intuition, expanded perception and projection. Deep listening to the Song of Life.
- aura - The human electromagnetic field first tests and processes incoming and outgoing information. It processes and records them like software.
- pranic body – It governs the life force from the first breath to the last – we explore the power of breathing. Energy means health, money and well-being.
- subtle body – records every experience we have: whether real, mental or spiritual; since time immemorial… an aspect of Mastery.
- radiant body – it is revealed and comes to life when a person’s soul shines fully within their physical body – have the courage to be yourself.

Yogi Bhajan
His motto: “If you cannot see God in everything, you cannot see Him at all”. His credo: “It's not the life itself that counts, it's the courage you put into it”. His challenge to students: “Don't love me, love my teachings, become ten times better than me”.
