We are experiencing more and more the peculiarities of the current times - almost everyone is already affected by the need to transform paradigms, priorities and needs in the face of the changes taking place. It can be said that what we have known so far - has become disjointed and is no longer in play. This process repeats itself cyclically on Earth forcing us all to evolve with it. We must abandon the old pattern in favour of a new one that has not yet been woven. We leave the old composition that has already wrapped up in favour of the new one that we are now composing together. It is a phase of chaos in which everyone hears feels and is stimulated by a cacophony of different vibrations and energy impulses, not knowing which to follow and what to hold on to. This is why it is so important to tune into one's sense of self, to harmonise internally, to align with others in a melodic way.
Science and medicine have already discovered that chanting and articulation of voices tones the vagus nerve, which governs the parasympathetic nervous system responsible for reducing the effects of stress and relaxation. The discoveries of the ancient yogis are still relevant for modern people.
The course is for anyone wishing to get in touch with their own voice and body for better communication with themselves and others. We welcome yoga instructors, especially Kundalini Yoga, who want to open their voice to mantra intonation and to work with sound and vibration. We also welcome musicians interested in voice work methods from the Far East.
2340 PLN for 3 modules (1,3,4) or 2900 PLN for 4 modules (1,2,3,4) with learning to play the harmonium.
Place: Warsaw (harmonium playing module - in Wodynie, Mazowieckie Voivodship)
The teachings presented come from Naada Yoga, Laya Yoga, Mantra Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. The method of working with the voice and emotions , taught on the course, was developed by Vemu Mukunda and further developed by Stefano Manfrin. The mantras and shabdas (songs, psalms, kirtan) that will be used in the course come from Kundalini Yoga according to Y.Bhajan and North-West India.
During the course, we will practise the basics of music such as rhythm, the ability to maintain an even tempo, articulation of the voices, correct breathing and relaxation of the vocal cords. We will learn what the eastern version of the gama is - saptak SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI and how it differs from the western version. We will learn to guide energy through our body with a circuit of energy according to raga. We will experience how the vibration of our voice and the harmonium sounds massage our brain and internal organs, relaxing them and bringing them into balance. In addition to the sense of hearing, we will also activate the sense of touch receiving the vibrations of the sound waves.
